Japan Earthquake Fundraiser
Here is the draft sketch of the "Hai (Yes) Japan- Iie (No) Nukes" tumblers now in the pre-production phase for our Japan Earthquake Fundraiser here at King's Point Pottery, King's Point, Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada. (Yes... this shape is based on the 3 mile island nuclear power plant cooling towers!) While the price is yet to be finalized for one of these limited edition tumblers, it will be around $25.00 each (any taxes, shipping... extra) and all of the profits will go to potters in Japan affected by the March 11th, 2011 earthquake. If you wish to get one for yourself, reserve/hold one or give one to a friend(s) you can either email or call or contact us in one of the following ways: http://www.kingspointpottery.com/ , info@kingspointpottery.com , or 709-268-2216....or if you wish to donate in other ways there is the fabulous http://www.leachpottery.com/ who are collecting money to Japanese potters in the Mashiko area or of course the gold standard red cross http://www.redcross.ca/ or doctors without borders http://www.msf.ca/ (or other reputable earthquake relief organizations supporting Japan.) Both Linda and I strongly encourage everyone to give something to the Japan Earthquake victims if you are able to. Thank you very much for taking the time to read this important message! Best wishes David kingspointpottery.com
